Raven's Revitality Nest - Mobile Massage Therapy Terms and Conditions 

(Effective as of April 2025)

1. Scope of Services 

At Raven's Revitality Nest, massage therapy services are provided solely for therapeutic purposes such as relaxation, rehabilitation, and stress relief.
I maintain a strict professional standard. Any inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of the session, and full payment of the session fee.

2. Client Responsibilities

Clients must complete a Health Intake Form and disclose all relavant medical conditions prior to their session.
Clients are responsible for providing a safe, clean, and private space suitable for mobile massage therapy, including enough room for a massage table and unobstructed access to the location. Any pets or animals must be in a safe location away from the designated area of the session, to make the flow uninterrupted and time taken away from your session in regards to any distractions caused by and or otherwise.

3. Informed Consent

Before each session, clients must give verbal and written informed consent.
Clients reserve the right to withdraw consent and end the session at any time. likewise Raven's Revitality Nest reserves the right to end the session if necessary for professional, ethical, or safety reasons.

4. Cancellations and No-Shows

A required 24 hours' notice for  cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations (under 24 hours' notice) are subject to a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service cost.
No-shows will be charged the full service fee.

5. Payment Policy

Full payment is due immediately prior to the session and through booking online through services. Accepted payment methods include cash, e-transfer, or credit card.
Receipts will be provided upon request for insurance or personal records after payment is received. 

6. Travel Fees

Travel within a 30 minute radius of base location is included in the service price.
Travel outside this radius (exceeding 30mins) may be subject to additional charge of $10 

7. Health and Safety Policy

If you are experiencing any symptoms of contagious illness (such as influenza, or gastrointestinal illness), your appointment must be rescheduled.
Raven's Revitality Nest reserves the right to refuse service and reschedule appointments due to illness, unsafe conditions, or concerns for the therapist or client safety.

8. Professional Boundaries and Draping

Professional draping will be used at all times to ensure modesty and comfort.
Any disrespectful behavior or boundary violations will result in immediate termination of the session, and full service fee will apply. 

9. Privacy and Confidentiality

Client information is collected and accordance with Alberta's Health Information Act (HIA) and is kept confidential.
Information will only be disclosed with your consent or as required by law. Your privacy and trust are respected at every step.

10. Limitation of Liability 

By booking a session with Raven's Revitality Nest, you acknowledge that massage therapy is not a substitute for medical care and agree to disclose any health conditions accurately.
Clients release Raven's Revitality Nest from liability for any adverse effects resulting from undisclosed health conditions or injuries.
